About Me

Welcome. I’m Abbey Jane I’ve been living my vocation working as a Lead Copywriter, Account Manager, Brand Whisperer, Marketer, Content Director and Communications Specialist for over 20 years. I started when business cards were swapped and computers had disk slots. My first ever ad was for a blinds company in a local free newspaper. I still have it and I treasure it. Copywriting isn’t just ad writing. It’s storytelling. People can ignore ads but they’ll pay attention to a good story.

I have had the privilege of working at global agencies, contributing to the success of top brands and collaborating with the most brilliant minds in advertising. I’ve been just as lucky to work with some of our smallest and most hardworking business owners.

In my other life, I am the mother of a non-verbal child with Level 3 ASD, also working as an emergency support at my son’s school. I am also a cancer survivor and a volunteer for the Cancer Council’s Community Advisory Network to advocate for prevention screening. I’m especially passionate about seeing mums thrive in advertising against all industry odds.
